“Bluebeard” by Cocteau Twins (1994)

18 01 2009

An artist I knew introduced me to the Cocteau Twins’ music.  She said she liked to paint to it, and I can see why.  Their music has become really important to me.  It’s hard to explain, but the lush music and expansive arrangements, along with the cryptic but mesmerizing vocals never fail to center me.  I always have Cocteau Twins music close at hand.

If you ever see your daddy down in the dumps, or edgy and bristling, sneak a Cocteau Twins CD into the nearest audio system.  Because I forget to do that for myself sometimes.
